Early childhood experiences usually stuck for whole life. And since most children lack empathy (most are basically psychopaths) they are extra harsh on such types.

That is why most end up as incels.

Interesting little read. Glad she had some empathy for them despite their *******ry. People who dunk on incels always rub me the wrong way. Like they've already been losers for significant portions of their life, going out of your way to make fun of/decry them makes you seem like such a tool.

It is disappointing though that her conclusions were just less racism/bullying - not mentioning online dating and how looks-oriented it's made people's dating choices seems hugely remiss. She somehow just glossed over that part talking about women not being into short, overweight men (does she seriously think they are?).

Shes a (somewhat) attractive woman so she cant really relate fully in any way with some ugly midget incel or something and their experiences in sex and relationships. I dont think men who are chads can either. Its a different world.

It doesn't really matter what a journalist looks like, it's just someone who gets paid to write news. I'm a journalist and all that really matters is what I write.

I agree that the whole incel thing is really sad, I'm not surprised that so many of them are suicidal. The internet phucks with your head and those kinds of online communities can amplify your mental problems.

I feel bad for a lot of the people who post the really weird incel threads here, but I am also really tired of seeing them all the time. I wish they would disengage from all that incel chit and stop using online strangers on internet forums as their source of understanding women and relationships. They would be happier for it, these fixations are not healthy, same with all the race threads. It's obsession.

The internet has created the means for anyone to create or find an online community of like-minded people to amplify their fringe interests. This chit inspires mass shooters, insane delusion, conspiracy theories, racial/religious hatred, and all sorts of chit. It's not good for the mind or for society as a whole. It's like cults in website form.
