Got called "Cheugy" for drinking a Whiteclaw today

first of all i am a millennial and i am not ashamed of the year i was born in. second of all i was at a work lunch office party and our boss is a great guy and encouraged us to make it a BYOB thing. So I brought in a couple of mango white claws to enjoy with the catered lunch from the red lobster. now my office is mostly gen x/boomers but there are three of these 22 year old gen z little chitheads (cody, mason and matty) who think they are hotchit. i tried being friends with them but they always act like they are better than me. anyway i thought i would make a peace offering so i offered cody a white claw during lunch and he just laughed and said naw that's so cheugy. i had no idea wtf he was saying so i just laughed it off saying i know right because i had no idea wat the hell cheugy means. then the other two starting laughing saying "Ariel you are so cheugy" and at one point they started call me the "cheugmeister". after the lunch i went back to my computer and googled cheugy and i realized wat it meant and they were making fun of me. wtf why is gen z such fuking hostile towards us millenials misc

I think it's a good thing, being trendy is lame. I was born right on the line between the two generations. They just sound like azzholes, which are not exclusive to any generation.

Who turns down a free brew? It's a token of kindness, gotta be a real dick to turn down a friendly gesture like that just to act trendy. I'd understand if you don't drink, but it's pretty shallow if it's about trends.

Pay no mind OP, it ain't worthwhile company in the first place.

You should be used to these type of scenarios from high school OP..

The fact that you didn’t put the fear of God into those *******s makes the rest of us millennials look even worse.

Thanks *******
