Tequila drinkers...so whats the

better of the two

Im not big on tequila but when you have a shot of something even something you dont like you can tell quality spirits from bottom bottles.

I was told by some chic yesterday that george clooney started making his own tequila.like sammy hagger did with cabo wabo.

cabo wabo was smooth and you can taste the price in it. clooneys is equally as expensive.

For those of you who have tried both which one gets the thumbs up?

this can confirm gran centenario is a great tequila

I haven't tried the cabo wabo OP, but casamigos is pretty decent. That being said, it isn't good enough for me to justify the expense. If i want a high quality Tequila, Casa Dragones is always my default. If i'm drinking just to get drunk, I'm going Jimador, Milagro, Espolon, or 1800

Clooney's is Casamigos and i dig it. i know there are better or equal options for less money. but it's solid, easy to drink on its own. i really do like their mezcal which again, yes there are equal options for less money out there, but if somebody's serving it i certainly won't complain.

if you really want to burn some money on celebrity-driven mezcal, pick up the Dos Hombres from Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston. tremendous smokey flavor, over priced but fun to try.

there is an episode of moonshiners Master Distillery episode where they bring in three people to make tequila.instead of moonshine. they brought in this famous tequila guy from mexico to judge.

Was a good episode. Tried to find to post but im sure its out there some where

Always associated tequila as a party drink for example I just imagine it's good only for taking shots at parties, bars etc.

For people that drink it at home do you just sip on it? Like on ice? I'm unaware of Tequila in a controlled environment lol. Thanks for your input.

There are sipping tequilas. Casa Dragones i mentioned before is one of them. So smooth you barely even taste the spiciness of the tequila...it's more like an undertone.

Oh ok yeah I figured there must be sipping tequilas. Lmao yeah I'm pretty sure I was thinking of chitty tequilas, because the ones I used to take shots of back in college all the time at parties probably don't even compare to sipping tequilas. Lol I used to think Patron was such a prime tequila.

They’re both overpriced for what they are. With that said i’d take Casamigos over Cabo Wabo.

If you’re in the states, try to find Fortaleza. Unlike just about every tequila out there that’s produced as quickly and efficiently as possible for the masses, this is still hand made the slow traditional way. They cook the pinas in a brick oven for 2 days, crush the pinas with a giant tahona rock, ferment in open wooden tanks, and distill in copper pots. Just as they did 100+ years ago. Even their bottles are hand made. And to top it off it’s priced competitively with Casamigos and Cabo Wabo. Not only is it the best bang for your buck, it’s some of the best tequila you can buy. Period.

Was best taste to price of any tequila I sampled through. They have an imperial which is barely better and costs over twice as much. The anejo is a bargain for how great it is.
