Unless if you live in a culture where it's okay to still live with parents.

Go make some money and get out of your parents house. Go live life. You can still take care of them.

Almost every culture around the world has a right of passage that a boy has to go through in order to become a man. Go do your own rite of passage.

I can't because I live in Canada. Tradies start off at 30-40k per year and the average home price here is $1,300,000. This is a country where generations are literally being priced out of the real estate market. Foreign interests buy up all our chit and inflate the prices. I'm basically condemned to a life in my parents' basement. I think instead of getting laid I will just resub to wow and play BC classic.

Rental costs vary across cities and across Canada. They usually cost less outside large cities. You will likely pay at least $350 a month to rent a room. You can pay at least $2,000 a month to rent a larger apartment or a large house.Aug 10, 2020

This is poor advice in my opinion. I don't live with my parents now but I'd much rather that than living with strangers.

Rent costs less outside major cities but that also comes with less jobs available.

Honestly if you are poor - you should try to stay living rent free as long as possible.

When I finished school I lived in my dad's basement for a year and a half while he was overseas and it allowed me to pay off my SL and truck. Was a huge benefit getting rid of 2 monthly payments.
