No idea, but it would be a travesty to cut those beauties down to satisfy selfish human needs.
Having said that, I have hundreds of trees on my property. Should I cash in? Unfortunately, not much pine, though.

*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*

Loggers that are bringing raw timber to the mills are not making any more per load than they did pre scamdemic. So people thinking that the timber they have on their property is worth gold now are ignorant of what’s really going on with lumber.

the people on top (who control/own the lumber mills) are just making up for lost profits from when they had to shut down for a couple weeks cuz corona. but also people are still paying cuz houses never stop going up. a sheet of plywood was 20$ b4 now its 80$ and you usually need a full bundle.

its not due to a shortage of lumber, its due to a shuttering/ slowing down laying off of workers because they made the wrong call
