How do I get a squatters car out of our lot

City won't impound a nuisance vehicle unless it's been there for 30 days.

Some innocent kid with a bright future and a mile long rapsheet parked his ****ty car in the corner of a parking lot shared by a friend's business. I'm pretty sure they're just scoping the area to rob various businesses in the strip center.

He has been in jail (5yr) for robbery w/bodily injury, again for stealing a car, and most recently assault. The story is he "lost" his key and is living out of the car.

How can I get their hoopty towed out of the lot w/o it getting tied back to us?

Don’t let that prick intimidate you. Tell him you’re going to tow his car in two days if he doesn’t remove it. If he tests you then have it towed. Also if he decides to let you tow it then have him banned from the premises.

If a car is left on private property for 15 days, you can actually file to claim it as your own property.
