When To Suspect A Heart Attack? (Srs)
Have had a sharp pain in left side of chest on and off today randomly.
then, since 11, more frequently.
when should I suspect a heart attack?
dont really wanna go to er and be there for hours atm if theres nothing wrong.
left arm seems fine for example.
what do?

Never
Cant have a heart attack if you never go to the ER to confirm it. That’s my motto.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Does it hurt when you breath in and out?
Like a sharp, tightening pain?
That’s precordial catch syndrome
Relatively common amongst ectomorph athletes
——
That being said, it’s difficult to properly diagnose the nidus of chest pain over the internet. If it continues to cause you strife you will been to be evaluated [in person] sooner than later.

I’d recommend emergency department evaluation, or at the very least urgent care/family physician for EKG, vitals and physical examination as soon as able.

Does it get worse when he moves?
Does it improve when he rests?
How long does the pain last each time, or is it ongoing for minutes/hours?
Did any medication make it better? Tums, Pepcid AC, tylenol, naproxen/aspirin/ibuprofen/tylenol?
Any history of heart condition in the past? Any diabetes or HTN?
Is the pain reproducible by touching a certain part of his chest?

A little chest pain is normal (acid reflux etc.) Chest pain that feels like something compressing on your chest, with shortness of breath and tachycardia (over 100 bpm while resting), maybe vomiting you should be concerned and get it checked out immediately

I've been having weird chest pain all year, and at one point thought I had a heart attack (racing heart, difficulty to breathe). Idk what it was. But I'm fine I guess.
