Are checking account bonuses worth the hassle? (srs)

Got an offer for $225 if I open a checking account and setup direct deposit and 90 days they give the money

Thing is I'll still use my bank account, I'll just transfer my money each payday. And once I get the bonus I'll just close it

Worth the hassle for anyone whose done this?

I suppose its not ethical to do the bonus if you aren't intending to keep the account.

On the other hand, they went out of their way to email me a promotion for it, I didn't go looking for the offer.

On the other hand, I also opened an account with Capital One and it was smooth sailing.

Long story short, BOA sucks hard.
Not BOA, so should be good there

I’ve thought about it but doesn’t seem worth my time.
