All Past, Present and Future Military GTFIH for reps!!!!!! (Ded Fkn Srs!)

Hi Misc! Time for my annual Memorial Day thread. I know that today is a day of remembrance for those who lost their lives fighting for their country, but I want to show my appreciation to all of you who have served and risked your lives to keep us safe. I will rep every single one of you even if it takes days!

My Poppop fought in WW2 as a Turret gunner and my father was in the Air Force and served in Nam. Thankfully they both came home safe. Lets remember those that did not.

p.s. I will also get those who are not US military. If you have served, then you get my reps.

Future reps for you son incoming, I hope he learns a lot and takes advantage of all the opportunities they provide! I spoke to some of the guys there about doing JAG at one point, I know the crayon eating thing comes up but from someone who has worked with plenty of C Suite Execs, they were some of the most professional folks I’d spoken to in a long time srs.

All my uncles (about 10 of them) served in WW2 and came back alive and well!! My proud grandfather got a framed plaque for all of his sons coming home. The one who ended up with the worst injury, however, was my uncle who fought Sugar Ray. The war ended his aspiring boxing career. But he accepted his "fate" and moved on with his life, raising a beautiful family.
Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.

Let's show RESPECT for the POLICE and ALL FIRST RESPONDERS by helping to keep THEM SAFE AND SOUND, and thereby able to PROTECT US!

Was drafted and ended up serving for over two years b4 I got out.
In that time I got promoted to sgt and took part in some cross border excercises
It was a cool life experience for sure, made me appreciate the price for freedom.
