I never rewatch shows but I've rewatched Breaking Bad about 3 times already. Dexter should be on that list as well, even though the last few seasons suck ass. Another miscer recommended "The Shield" to me - really good show as well.

Sopranos is great, but I think you gotta be a certain age to fully appreciate it. It does kinda start slow I think. Some of the best show start slow.

Fargo was a fun one.

You can relate this to specific stoic/Greek philosophies and it is a pretty motivating concept.


I would take it a step further and suggest we were never alive to begin with. Not in the sense we believe we are.

It could be a type of allegory of the cave metaphor.

Pirates, titties, great writing. Season 1 is kinda slow but once you get passed that S2 and 3 are some of the best television ever.

so was there a crash? were they dead before the crash? are each actually living in the present (but are already dead as you describe - as we all are) on the island? or is this all in their minds

I really enjoyed the show, but definitely got lost watching it back in the day - when it first aired

definitely it needs to be rewatched.

the characters are amazing
