Yup, Steve-O was that good natured buddy who always wanted to party and do stupid chit, while Bam was just one of those narcissistic douchebags who did punk ass chit and treated people like chit.

You can tell how the dynamic was even in the late Jackass flicks, everyone seemed to be getting sick of Bam and his CKY group's chit. It's like they didn't say they didn't like the guy but you could just tell how they didn't really like him anymore.

Honestly I've been there myself with some old college buddies. Steve-O is that nice dude I partied with but eventually distanced myself from because he got all phucked up, then later and he became this totally changed person who got their life together. Bam is that guy who used to be fun to hang out with who sorta had chit going for him that slowly became an insufferable douchebag and narcissist with dark energy that I eventually had to eliminate from my life.

I'm 350% sure they weren't sober during the filming of the other films. Knoxville turned into a stuck-up actor from the look of it. Bam can't keep his shtt together. Not sure why they're even making a 4th without all the OGs anyway

He did a lot of phucked up chit but he was always really phucked up when he did it, difference is he grew up and changed. Bam pretty much regressed over the years, the way he was fighting with his mom on Dr Phill... just sad. Dude is getting pretty old these days and he is acting like a phucked up teenager. Doubt they are more famous. If you showed me a picture of anybody from Nelk I’d have zero clue who they are. Show me a pic of Johnny Knoxville, or Steve-o they’re instantly recognizable.

They might be richer because YouTube and social media didn’t exist when Jackass was popular.

Edit-just googled stevewilldoit since he’s the only name I’ve ever heard of from Nelk. And on IG which is where he got famous I’m guessing he only has 2 million followers, while Steve-O has well over 5 million.

Astounded at the number of people in this thread who are astounded on any level.

Chit-tier parenting led to a self-absorbed celebrity, which brought in money, which made the chit-tier parents very happy so they removed all boundaries. When I look at Bam I see a child desperately, even if subconsciously, longing for his parents to give a chit and actually provide him with some form of stability through rules and moral guidance.

The crazy thing is Bam is like one of the youngest of the jackass crew at only 41, but dude looks like late 50s.

He's just a combination of helicopter parenting and having virtually unlimited resources at far too young of an age.

There has been times when Bam actually talks some sense, they are few and far between but on very rare occasions you can tell there IS a decent guy in there, but honestly at these days it's just the waiting game for the bad news about him.

A shame as he was a big part of my childhood, me and my brother used to copy his style and watch viva la bam on MTV every damn night lol. While switching over to see that hot AF evenescence bish music video every hour on kerrang.
