Vaccine hate??

Ye everyone i know who has taken it are fine? Almost all my coworkerkers expect me . And the reason i didnt was because of this place. Some of them had a mild flu and thats it? The rest didnt Even notice a thing.

Why are u guys acting like hysterical women? No hate just curius? And the vaccines they have taken are made in your country, pfizer john john etc only the safest ones

I've been seeing posts about people who feel worse getting the vaccine than actually getting covid. Also what you think you're going to see it kill off everyone immediately? Give it more than 6 months.

My take on the vaccine.
I am not against them at all. I have stuff I cant even remember the name of that the army pinned in me years ago. Whats the difference with this one? This one is brand new. I am not about to inject myself with something that does not have a proven track record just yet. I am still seeing how people react to it.

I also cannot stand how hard society is pushing for it. I am constantly sent emails at work about the vaccine, the VA calls me weekly asking me about the shot. I cant scroll through 3 post on fb without someone talking about it or fb randomly sending me locations to get it. I watch wrestling and they will have random commercials pushing for the vaccine. Now I saw that you can put "Vaccinated" in your dating profile on some sites. I've even heard that are going to start making you show proof if you need to fly anywhere.

All of this just seems odd and I want no part of it.

This, minus the army portion. I really dislike that I am being pressured to get a vaccine that does nothing more than lessen symptoms that I may barely even notice were I to actually catch this virus. On top of that, even if I catch it I have a 99+% chance of surviving it. Something just isn't adding up here.

I'm not hysterical, just hesitant. More so for children/teens/twenties than for older people; aka the people that may have to live with any effects of the vax for a really long time.

Don't see any need to be in a hurry if you are not one the people at high risk from the virus itself.

If you are middle aged/done having kids and it is more convenient for you to do it than not, do what you want.

Especially since cases/hospitalization/deaths all seem to be trending downward and there is an alternative to prevent/treat the virus.

ETA: the push to get younger and younger people vaxxed really bothers me the most. Schools were shut or put masks/distancing in place to avoid children spreading the virus to parents/grandparents. The adults have had a chance to make their own choice.

Visited the local HS with my daughter today and the staff are not wearing masks. Regular in person school next year as far as I can tell. No mention was made of a vax or a mask being required to attend.

AstraZeneca jab seems kinda ****, don’t think I’d take that. Hun at my work said her dad got taken to hospital with clots in the brain from it and still hasn’t gotten his eyesight back. Seems to be the only one with any real sides generally too

Beyond that, How does it make any sense a vaccine was created in 6 months when almost every other vaccine took10-15 years before it was ready for humans?

More and more stats are coming out that such a very small SMALL fraction of people died from Covid alone.

If this vaccine is so useful and necessary why does the government need to put so much effort into pushing it?

Well it dosent matter to get Rid of the virus evrybody has to take it. The reasons we dont hear about the past viruses is because of the vaccines. This is what ive been told. And it makes sense?

Its illegal in my country, stay away from that one. They stopped it immedialty after oldies started dying one by one in nursing homes.

there is so much ****ery and corruption going on in the US government right now its literally insane.

I hesitated because I wanted to see the results of others, so far it has been fine for people. I don't blame people for wanting to be patient though. I got my first shot, I had an uncomfortable/sore arm for a day and then I was good if you are wondering.

Humans suffered plenty of viruses prior to vaccination. Vaccination was/is a great discovery. However two of the present vaccines are unlike all of those prior vaccinations.

It has been published in multiple places multiple times now that we will not reach herd immunity, and that the most likely outcome is that COVID becomes just another endemic virus, potentially with the need for annual booster shots.

About the numbers-

The most cursory review will turn up the fact that data found in VAERS doesn't necessarily equate with causation, just correlation unless otherwise proven. Or, IOW, if you die within 30 days of the vax it may be reported to VAERS. You could also die within 30 days of eating Thai food, or within 30 days of riding a carousel. VAERS is to watch for a pattern to investigate if there is a real link.
