Married couple plan a 're-wedding ceremony' after husband comes out as trans (PICS)
- Rayna (previously Jake), 33, and Jae Harvey, 30, who live near Bridgwater, Somerset, tied the knot in 2018 while Rayna was called Jake
- However during their honeymoon in Center Parcs, in Longleat, Wiltshire, graphic designer Rayna (Jake) came out as transgender
- Rayna (Jake) has since spent £45,000 on an orchiectomy, where the testicles are removed, as well as a breast augmentation and facial surgery, and said it was 'worth every penny'
- The two met on MySpace back in 2007, they reconnected on MSN in 2010 and a few months later Rayna (Jake) flew to Dallas, Texas, for a fortnight so they could meet for the first time. The pair lost touch for several years but in October 2017 their love was rekindled when Jae flew out to the UK for the first time and now they're married
- Jae said: 'We're planning a "re-wedding" because her family wasn't able to make it out to Texas and now that she's transitioned it's another huge reason for us to do it again
- Rayna (Joe) said: 'It was liberating. Something I'd been storing away for so long and when it actually happened it was more of a relief. The ball sack is gone and now I'm my true self"

One of my childhood friends recently came out as trans. It was shocking/disgusting as you might imagine, but it made me think deeper into the root causes of transgenders. I mean this was a guy who got the most pussy out of all of us in high school. He was bright, well liked and a natural leader. But he also had a difficult life, which in retrospect foreshadowed how he’d turn out.
I remember hearing stories about how his mom showed him her teds and smoked funny tobacco with him in middle school. He eventually became a full blown addict, OD’d multiple times, went to jail, etc. Now all of a sudden he claims he’s turned his life around and wants to be a woman.
So I believe most cases of this are simply a childhood trauma-based mental illness, often arising from sexual abuse. Honestly, how many transgenders are stable well rounded people who grew up in good homes? Almost none.
I still have sympathy that their body dysmorphia convinced them they’re trapped being the wrong gender, however, unlike homosexuality, I am not convinced it is something they’re born with.

I grew up with two alcoholic, extremely abusive parents. That's also difficult life. But I remember around 2001-02 starting to wonder WTF was going on in the news, why we were being lied to, etc. Something in my gut said this was wrong, and I paid attention to it instead of ignoring it.
At some point I got out of that cycle of manipulation and quit listening to the obvious BS. But the people who never used their discernment have followed the small lies of the media to where we are now with transgenderism being normalized, where people are told that there's nothing psychologically damaged with these people, and that anybody who thinks otherwise is a bigot.

Have you seen the Louis Theroux doc on Trans Children? There is one family with a little boy that was adamant he was a girl and he was only like 6 years old. Normal household, normal parents and they were both perplexed. Theroux recapped the episode recently and the girl was in her mid teens and transitioned, still believing it was the best decision she has made. I think there is a factor of being born with body dysmorphia in these cases.
