i had to have my atfl ligament in my right ankle fully reconstructed which apparently never healed after a severe inversion ankle sprain when i was like 14 (ded fkn Srs)

honestly man having a great surgeon and care team made all the difference. if anything bad were to actually happen they would have made quick work of it. i will no longer have any anxiety for future surgeries if needed. thats how well it went

full recovery he said is 4-6 months which really depresses me but im glad once it heals and is fixed a lot of my issues that i had been experiencing from it should disappear

currently i am on crutches and am not able to bear any weight on it

i will be placed in an immobilizing walking boot of some sort for an additional 6 weeks so i will try and resume my normal gym routine once that gets put on me as i wont need to hobble around on crutches

pretty much no direct calf work for a few months if i'm being cautious which i intend on being as i want this to be a 1 and done deal so ill nurse it best i can
