The original had rather childish writing with really clownish bad guys.
The mythology is decent though and with more mature writing it could be watchable for adults.

Yeah that's why I'm somewhat excited about it. No way I could watch He-Man in the same tone as the original with a bunch of goofy chit. This looks more serious/more mature like the Castlevania series which is pretty baller.
