free gym memberships for fat people, why not?
Since obesity kills ~300K per year?
Also where’s the free chemo for cancer patients?
No free flu shots?
And we might as well cure the common cold now since we have life saving effective and ultra safe immunizations shots for a super duper cold, while we’re at it.
Might be cool to take all the processed shyt out of foods too.
Free insulin to diabetics, and they should be entered into a lottery for picking up the insulin too.
Also, fat people should not be allowed to order desserts at restaurants, unless they show an app that turns green if they lost weight over a 2 week period. Non-fat people can eat all the dessert they want, because they are at less risk
Also there should be a free Uber for a fat person going to the gym, because people love incentives,
Saying this is fatphobic is on the same level as calling someone an antivaxxer, because the gym can make the fat individual healthier and even save them

Good points. We provide an education completely "free" to everyone in the country for k-12. Even James Madison thought education should be socialistic. I could argue exercise > education. But IDK about state run anything, govt isnt good at running things.

Cost of gym membership isn't the issue.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Every fat person who collects their free membership will be entered into a fat-a-million lottery and will be allowed to have an extra dessert at any restaurant even if they didn’t lose weight over the last 2 weeks. They just have to prove they claimed their membership

We should lure 100 fat people into a large cage with a free all you can eat junk food buffet. Once the fatties are trapped, what do you do? drown them? Burn them? No, you leave them alone.
As soon as they run out of food, they begin to eat each other. When there are two left, you let them go back to civilization. But they will not eat junk food anymore. They will only eat other fat people. You have changed their nature.

Well in places like Canada Chemo, flu and insulin shots are free. There is no cure for the common cold.

Exercise itself doesn't cost anything but time, working out at home was promoted a lot during quarantine but I doubt anyone who wasn't already exercising embraced it for more than a few weeks.
My secret? Texting between sets.

While I get the thought process, it would be just awarding people who make bad choices. Fatties get a free membership, but us dedicated and healthy people still need to pay.
The real solution would be higher healthcare premiums for people who are obese, smoke, drink excessively, ect.

I'd support this but only if the 'gym' is a fat people work camp
