Being a refugee must be an extremely tough life

Imagine fleeing your war-torn, third-world country, seeking a better life for your family. We are so lucky as westerners, living in first-world nations. We have it really good.

I think we should be more compassionate to refugees. They've lived a hard life. I think we should be more empathetic to those who've, through no fault of their own, inherited a less fortunate circumstance.

What do you guys think?

Third world countries are continuously exploited by first world countries.
First world countries pretty much control power in the 3rd world countries by placing puppets that promote the interests of some western multinationals.
Just look at how France helps many African dictators stay in power in Africa

They're continuously helped by first world countries. While the first world countries had steam trains and anti-biotics folks elsewhere were throwing spears at each other. Not all societies progressed at the same rate so they aren't sitting level today. That's just how it is nobody has to be blamed.

For example, Nigeria has the biggest brute oil extraction and export of Africa, and yet they still have to import gasoline and other processed petroleum stuff.

In short, whatever aid the west gives African countries or middle eastern countries, they probably make 100 times that through the trade imbalance that forces those countries to sell their natural resources to rich countries at very cheap prices.

I dunno bro i am a refugee and my life was 'hard' so i'm a bitt funny because of it, but looking back on it i did i did kind of exaggerate it and i was also ungrateful for what i did have until i lost everything
