How do I redeem this situation?

Long story short,

Went on a first date with a girl many months ago, I thought it went pretty awkward and ****ty
Had NC'd her a bit afterwards eventhough she wanted a second date
Fast foward to now and I completely misunderstood her
She had kinda high expectations for this date and I phucked it up in many ways
Now I actually think I wanna see her again and had a chance, but I have no idea how to fix this
I dont wanna look weak by saying later that I want to do another date right after this one
Do I wait a week and try normal texting?
I've never asked for a date or actively texted her that much, so doing it now would make it very obvious

first mistake you made if you liked her at all was not going on a second date, first dates are generally awkward as fuk cuz. gotta work through the kinks before you can tell if it's gonna work out.

When it comes to females you must strike when the irons hot my guy. You can't get lazy and ghost and then some time down the road realize you wanna fk with her again

To the girl its like saying " hey I just got rejected by some other girl and now I'm desperate and wanna try again"

Not half as bad as what happened to me lately
Was messaging a girl for 7 weeks , went on a date ...she requested a 2nd date even saying things like " can't wait to see you "

And then she apparently met some surfer ******* and completly wrote me off ..after I spend nearly 2 months working on the girl and she was really my type ..
O well I'm getting over it ..ppl are as faithful as they're options
