System Of A Down predicted the Degeneracy of Hollywood..

SOAD one of my fav bands of all time were funny enough ahead of their times. Yes, sometimes their political chit was far left, but I'm listening to their last album Mezmerize.

Lost in Hollywood is a perfect song of how Cali, and Hollywood is today in 2021. What I love about SOAD is they left at the perfect time, and didn't over kill almost all their albums are amazing imo.

If I remember correctly, they didn't leave, they split up because of internal arguements? I could be wrong and accept that. Never liked them and their dumb politics, but do appreciate their musical talent.

Yeah you're right they never left just took a huge hiatus, and did other projects. Serj had some arguments with the drummer I think, and Daron the guitarist in the direction of the band. Ya I respect that if you don't like them, but def no one can deny their musical talent for sure.

Like me I never really liked Slipknot or Mudvayne, but damn are they talented. Still remember the first time I heard Wait and Bleed, and Not Falling. Great songs.

I can appreciate musical talent, everyone talked about in this thread are good, not great though. So I appreciate it. Soad will be forgotten though as they should be.

Slipknot will be remembered though, one of the first mainstream metal bands, Corey is super smart too. I only like a few of their songs though.

When you say predicated, you're missing the fact that they were calling out specific things that have been happening politically for hundreds of years

The "everything sucks NOW specifically" mentality shows a certain ignorance of history
