1. If you get the JJ shot, it provides about as much protection as one pfizer or moderna shot. One JJ shot is considered fully vaccinated, so why do we need 2 shots of moderna/pfizer?

They're saying the delta variant is more dangerous and one shot of moderna and pfizer is not enough. What about 1 shot of JJ? Do people who did JJ need to get another one now? If they're ok with just one, why do other people need 2 doses?

3. Overall, why do people care about others vaccine status? If you're vaccinated, aren't you already protected? Why are you worried about what other people choose to do?


I'm not vaccinated, I dont see covid as a big enough threat to my life to bother with it. And even if it was, this s*it just doesnt make much sense right now which would make me hesitant.

You're both retarded, it's because they use two different methods of creating a vaccine. in easier terms, Pifzer and Moderna uses mRNA technology, which teaches your body how to build pieces of the virus, and then destroy it. First shot produced weaker results, and with a second shot those rose. The J&J vaccine is very much moreso a typical vaccine. They inject you with a weaker strand to learn how to fight it off, and only needs one dose.

1. JJ does not offer as much protection as Pfizer or Moderna
2. Delta variant would be largely offset with the second shot. The more you inject into your body, the more it learns how the virus looks, and how to get rid of it. So if a modified version of the same virus entered your body, the better prepared you are. Each shot is essentially a study session, the more the better.
3. I guess the logic is that if everyone is vaccinated, you can return to normal, and eventually open everything up. I don't get why people care, and if you refuse to answer, they don't let you in.

Can't really comment on the first two points, but I agree with #3.

Imagine living your life paranoid over who is vaccinated and who isn't. Media has done a great job at fear-mongering and scaring everybody. Somehow it was such a scary virus yet people are lined up and gathered up at Costco and that people gained an average of 20-30 lbs over the course of it. Like if it was so dangerous and scary to you wouldn't you want to exercise, lose weight, take care of your health?

Global IFR is 0.15%. it's 0.05% if you exclude oldcels. and that's without the vaccine. Add in the chance of actually catching covid your chances of dying is similar to dying in a car crash. If the vaccine is 95% effective as they say, you have a 1/40000 chance of dying and even that I believe is understating the likelihood. You not getting the vaccine is going to have a very minimal impact on somebody else. We take bigger risks every day in life and nobody bitches about that. Asymptomatic spread isn't a driver of the virus as our lord and savior Saint Fauci has explained.

Old people are still going to die regardless even with the vaccine. Because that doesn't reduce their chances of dying of a heart attack, but if they happen to test positive it'll be counted as a covid death. Yet it somehow it wouldn't be a vaccine death if some 25 year old with no prior complications gets bent over by heart inflammation.

If you're sick and coughing all over the damn place then just be sensible and stay at home.

Their god Fauci said if youre fully vaccinated you have absolutely nothing to be worried about from someone that is not.

He even said that you could have a full blown covid infection and be in the same room as someone fully vaccinated and they will still be fine.

The only reason the push for EVERYONE to get it is so that big pharma can make even more billions.
