Could you imagine taking someone from the year 1700 and showing them today? Mind would be blown. I figured it would be the same for us if we were to somehow wake up in the year 2300. I figure a lot of stuff would be controlled by AI, maybe some kind of tech where can upload your brain/consciousness into a machine etc. It's too bad I wont even make it to 2100

I would only wonder if I knew I’d be alive to see it. Since that won’t be the case I don’t think about it

We honestly have no idea how it will occur. It's not like there was a single science fiction that accurately portrayed how the future ever came to pass. We can theorize and make stories about our predictions, but it could be anything from our complete nuclear destruction to uploading our minds into computers to an evil global oligarchy to AIs eliminating mankind and taking over (interestingly learned recently how Asimov's three laws are kind of a joke and impossible to implement, since so many of his stories are about ways it goes wrong).
We can say that the humans of their society will be much like we are since we are not going to evolve outside of things like anger, sexual frustration, hedonism, etc. in a few hundred years. It is likely we will map out the mind and our genome to an extent that we can manipulate much of what it means to be a human. At a high enough level of technology it is probably likely we automate everything and then much of society has some sort of just straight stream of dopamine/happiness injected directly into them constantly. Wouldn't be surprised if we end up in a bunch of pods spending our entire lives just in a meaningless chemical bliss, like those studies where rats will keep hitting a button to get dopamine stimulation and will starve even with food right next to them.

Imagine how many Floyd statues will be up by then. One for every street with his finger pointed the way traffic should go.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
Makes me feel eternal, all this Pain is an Illusion.
