I'm not saying op isn't being misleading, he is. But Trump tried to send national guard to help democratic cities and mayor's and governors didn't want the help and refused. Also defunded the police and passed ridiculous laws.

It's gotten a lot worse even since 10 years ago

Even Florissant and other areas near it are really bad but way out in the suburbs are nice

St. Louis has always been a crime ridden city. It is always at or near the top of the list in the US for decades now.

Source: lived in St Louis for the first several years of my life. Yes I have seen a dead body or two before the age of 5. This was early 80’s.
