Do you guys think Deinstitutionalization was the right way to go?

I know it was meant to move people to community mental health centers but it seems like they just let them rot on the street as homeless. And now they just put people with issues in normie jail.

No, it was not. Mental hospitals need to be reopened with involuntary commitment for some people.

That would help with the homeless problem and I don’t mind my tax dollars being used for this service.
