Today a gym bro told me that it's against the rules to deadlift heavy
Did 5 sets of 3 @ 550 pounds this morning. All perfect reps with no breaks in form. Gym brah literally told me that it's against the rules to deadlift that heavy lmao. don't know what was up his ass. Dude is not an employee at the gym. Also, there were 2 trainers in the gym who deadlift heavier than I do. I laughed at him and then proceeded to do curls right next to him. Jokes on him, I might attempt to max out next week... Dude should go to planet fitness if hes that insecure

Sure with bad form it can fuk you up but if you are lifting with good form i think it's a good thing for bone density and soft tissue strength. Why do you deadlift at all?
Strength for heavy lifting on hamstrings and lower back important to your overall health?

I deadlift because I enjoy lifting heavy and setting PRs. It's fun to compete in powerlifting too
