What do tradies talk about on the jobsite?

We all know what cubecels talk about in the office. Netflix, food, marvel, sportsball and post malones.

But what do tradies talk about? Kindly enlighten us who have never stepped foot on a jobsite before.

Work a 50% tradie 50% supervisor job and can confirm - some days we sit in the shop arguing about where we should get food for an hour or more. It's not a decision to be made lightly.

I'm not a construction site tradie. More of a warehouse/military tradie.

But yea it's pretty common. Some people bring their own food but once someone starts talking about going somewhere to get food everyone is suddenly hungry. Plus, it gives us a nice break between picking food up and then taking an hour or so chow. We don't like to rush things around here.

Yep, daily ritual. Head to the gas station, get food/monsters and go back and sit at the jobsite on pavers or under a tree and eat. Then we complain we ate too much and are tired.

I always see tradies in the morning when I get gas. They all have a monster in their hand and some type of sausage or biscuit. Every time. Then they all pool back into the work truck/van/car. Just glad I don't live that life anymore.

Yeah, some tradies came in to work on our electrical stuff (I'm a cubecell) and they cussed a bunch and talked about how much they hated democrats lol. They pretty much sounded like the misc.
