My sister definitely comes across as extremely liberal

I’m a right leaning libertarian myself

Now that I will be staying in San Diego long term she wants to talk on the phone about her moving down here with me

I love my older sister but I know living together we wouldn’t get along at all

Her boyfriend broke up with her who was splitting her apartment with her in Seattle but her lease will be up soon and she’s on unemployment while finishing school and hasn’t found any internships with her bio degree



How do I tell her :

1. She won’t like it and it’s not for her ? San Diego is based outside of downtown and North Park/Hillcrest.

It gets conservative/ redneck real quick outside the city proper too. Think as quick as La Mesa, Lemon Grove , Santee, La Jolla , etc.

2. We don’t give a **** about the Chinese virus out here. No one wore the mask before the option to not wear it came unless the business forced us.

I even see other people look at maskcels like ****ing retards now lol.

I haven’t worn one in any business in the last two weeks, even if they don’t have a sign allowing maskless entry.

We never social distanced either lmao

3. There’s a lot of “toxic masculinity” here. Uh oh , trigger warning.

If she found some rap I listen to too masculine and toxic then how will she ever cope with being surrounded by well off white collar businessmen , Vets or rednexican high test alpha tradies.

4. Protesting and blocking the road or committing property damage here will most likely get your **** kicked in. Most pockets of even the city don’t tolerate that ****.
