If you like pickles, get in here
Started making my own pickles recently and I'm amazed at how easy it is and how good they came out.
I made mine the Polish way.
Got the cucumbers at the local farmer's market (pickling cucumbers). Fill a jar with cucumbers, fresh dill, 2 gloves of garlic, and a small piece of horseradish.
For the brine add 1 tablespoon of salt (sea salt or kosher salt) per 1 liter of water. boil it and pour the boiling water into your cucumber filled jar. Close it tightly and after 2-3 days they are good to eat.
