I phucked up realll harddd man

So imagine I work at a care home (young offenders) and one of the new kids whos just come out of prison gives me his phone (his mums phone who gave it to him temporarily)to charge.

I take the phone and I see his mum on the display pic and shes in a bikini. I dont know what took over me, its never like me, but i asked the kid to open the phone so I could 'charge ' his phone as it wont let me otherwise.

He opened the phone and In doing so, I went through his mothers photos. All the while i didnt know the kid was waiting for his phone to be returned so he can check his ''recently opened'' (which i forgot to delete.)

He confronts me and im obviously denying it.

I feel like chit man, this is nothing like me i would never do such a thing and it kills me. The fact that you get caught red handed like that its such a uniquely shameful feeling.

The kid was surprisingly calm however he supposedly has anger issues/mental issues. I dont know how this will pan out.
