Boomer problem: PS3 died and now I can't watch Netflix/Prime/YouTube. Firestick?

As title says I now cannot watch anything on my TV except free chit over the air. Firestick seems cheap and easy. Any other suggestions? I don't play games anymore so don't need a console. Was gonna get another PS3 but holy crap they're kinda expensive.

get a chromecast with google TV and they give you a netflix credit

it comes out to like 10 bucks for the thing and it works really well
