My cousin is getting married on August 1st. I told my girlfriend a week ago to ask for the day off.

I am a professional and I know a 2 week notice is much appreciated so I told my girl to make accomodations. It is 4 weeks away so there is plenty of time to put in a notice.

She asked me what specific time the wedding is because she wants to go into work and head to the wedding afterwards.

We got into a shouting match because I told her she needs to lock the day in and be done with it. Doesn't matter what time it is. She says she can't just "call out" because she's the district manager.

It's 4 weeks in advance, ain't no "calling out". Should I break up with her? What's the issue??

Sounds like she is too comfortable with you. I know when I was dating I'd keep bishs on their toes. They wouldn't want me to go to a wedding by myself because they'd be worried I'd meet or fuk someone else. It's unfortunate that it be this way but once a bish is like 'oh yeah he can go to a wedding by himself I know he won't do anything he's wrapped around my finger' it's over boyo.

If I were you and I didn't want to break up with her I'd do the following:

Say: thanks for trusting me to go by myself to my cousins wedding, the boys are getting yucky the night before and we'll probably go clubbing maybe to strip club im not sure. It'd be nice if you're there but I understand about work.... drop little comments leading up to it about how so and so is going and they're always crazy,there's going to be ex gf there or a bunch of girls in general...you know play it up. If she still doesn't come then I would think she cares more about her ****gy poverty district manager job then you.

I read it. There is some truth to it. Bish is getting complacent. OP has become either become predictable or women no longer cares. Both of which can be countered by also not showing interest.
