Replacing MacBook pro battery; DIY or apple service?

Battery is running out in like an hour or two of browsin - laptop is 3 years old now.

DIY or pay apple a bunch of money to do is profesionally?

You gotta figure out your model, for instance this is a 2018 13" Retina kit that comes with the adhesive remover and tools:

Looks like Apple charges $129 for macbook pro and $199 if you have Retina display.

Might be better off just letting apple do it if you don't have a clue what you are doing.


Edit: You could also find cheaper batteries on ebay, but they may not be OEM.
Yeah dude i think i'll stick with apple repairs.

The thing is apple has top notch batteries in the device and these are the sam as the replacement.

iFixit is probably selling $25 batteries it gets from some random factory in china for 130..

Just not worth it, even though i am able to do it.
