what were the 2 best decades for comic books in terms of
story direction and art?
70s and 80s for me, at least for marvel. the first few years of the 90s were ol but then the big comic fall out happened, they was actually trying to charge 4 to 5 dollars a comic just cause of foil covers. . id say the market fell out in 93 94.
the 70s and 80s were by far the best sure you can go back earlier to the jack kirby stan lee days which were the golden era for marvel but the work of john byrne especially on the fantastic four through out that time is unparalleled
