Bestbuy Geeksquad Warranty worth it?

My friend bought two Ipads over the years, he says that he just tells the store the ipad is slow when the new version comes out they just give him a refund in full since the same model he has is out of stock/discontinued.


I did this for a PS5 controller, they didn’t have it in stock so they just offered a refund so I got my $100 bux back.


Anyone got more experiences with it?What items do they try to fix and what items do they just give you a refund for?
