Australian Covid lockdowns

Positive test rate, out of a million or so tests performed in recent weeks: 0.007%

Amount of people in ICU due to COVID: Literally 1 or 2 in a country of 25 million people.

99% of positive cases are asymptomatic and had no idea they had it. Perfectly healthy and flying, going to pubs, working etc.

Amount of COVID deaths in 2021: 0. None. Zip. Zilch.

And....6-7 million people still in lockdown and masks required everywhere.

They were fully cucked long before covid. Sad too they had such a strong start and were supremely alpha until a certain point.

Yes, but what if they save one grandma (while massively increasing suicide rates, depression, anxiety, close down all gyms so everyone becomes even fatter than normal, businesses close down, people become reliant on the government, people's minds stuck in a negative feedback loop from constant bombardment by the media, distrusting your neighbor, etc)?

It's just absolute smoothbrain mentality. I don't understand how people don't understand Bastiat's that which is seen and not seen, aka unintended consequences of actions having greater repercussions than what they prevent. I will guarantee that in many places, a retrospective analysis will show the lockdowns had a far more deleterious effect than what they prevented. No one will ever be held accountable for it either.

brb letting in quarter of a million immigrants a year for decades, "big Australia" policy, buying up all real estate. And now the states are warring with it's own citizens. Locking us down and telling us we're sick. It's a mad word, one day the people will break, as history has shown us a thousand times.

There's evidence that the lockdowns aren't even more effective than no lockdowns:https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2.../?srnd=opinion

We can easily handle the virus with more modest measures:https://www.wsj.com/articles/targete...er-11588630768

I simply refuse to believe the government gives two chits about a grandma.

Why did Australia ban guns? Did they accomplish what they wanted to with respect to that intention?

If it wasn't for immigrants Australia would probably be on par with economies like Spain, this horse has been beaten to death. The reason why immigration happened was due to economic reasons first and foremost - if you need their money then you need to accept the culture they bring as well, no way around it. That would be akin to having your cake and eating it too

we have some of the richest natural resource deposits in the world, the housing market is x3-4 times the GDP, it's insane and inflated. It's nothing but pure greed, they've switched from raising the birth rate and moved to mass immigration, which seems to be the M.O across many western nations. I did not say immigration was bad, i said mass immigration and selling land and companies to foreign ownership was.

Gun crime is very minimal. Only criminals carry guns and usually only criminals get shot (there are occasionally exceptions but they're rare)

Port Arthur massacre, shooter killed 35 + many injured. Government instituted mandatory buy back, gun deaths per 100,000 people more than halved since 1996 while in the US theres an increase

This is the mentality of boomer Karen’s running australia

“We’re not safe till we’re all safe”

There’s a reason everyone binge drinks in australia, it’s the only fun thing that isn’t banned/illegal

Wrong
Violent crime including gun related has been on a downward trend for a long time

I’d rather be Australian living almost other Australians
Then pay 1 million for a house and live in a colony of China and India

Australia has unlimited resources and land, Spain has neither

You’re probably one of those idiots that think the white australia policy was because “racism”
Hint it was to stop North Queensland farm owners bringing in slave like labour from the pacific island just like the big corporations are doing now with Phillipinoes

I can honestly say Australia is probably the best country in the world in terms of quality of life. Best weather, best beaches, babes, best cities in the world for quality of life, government transparency, free press, fantastic healthcare, nicer people, it's just all across a top nation. There's no division of any kind in politics like what U.S. has, people have great lives and no one cares about what the government does beyond certain specific policies that might affect daily life. There's a reason why Aussies are happy in general, it's like one of the few last paradises left on this planet.
I am not sure what you mean by saying that we are cucked because we are far less cucked as citizens than you are, getting absolutely demolished by either far left, far right, crime, illegal immigrants and increasing poverty while we are sippin that drink on the beach and watching the chit show from distance like it's like tv show. You are more than welcome to keep your guns as well, I am more than happy to see people with beer in their hand than some moron with a gun and a short temper. I mean I know it's normal for you but we joined 21st century long ago, we are more than happy to live in a society without seeing idiots on the streets with guns.
I know you won't get it but it's all g fam, we don't really need too much attention. If people knew how good life is here we'd see you motherfukers coming here in boats.

I live in Sydney and sadly this country has gone full retard on the COVID chit. I'm guessing politicians are making some easy money/power from flogging this absolute scam. Every time I turn on the radio in the car it's a dumb sloot talking about COVID the whole time.

The irony is during each lockdown there are far more people outside than without it. It's laughable how pathetic all this chit is and people still fall for it.

Feel free to address any of these points I made and highlight as to why you think that.
I am an immigrant, I came here long ago and I have lived in U.S., I've lived in a number of European nations and I've travelled in a lot of places across the world. I am well aware of how people live across the world, I can say I have quite a lot of experience and understanding about people's standards of living across the world.

I agree with this. I'm a dual citizen of Canada and Aus and Australia is generally a better quality of life and less cucked all around the board.

Most of the covid insanity is concentrated in Victoria (Melbourne). The restrictions and stuff arn't even that bad everywhere else to be honest
