Im thinking back to when Gay marriage was a huge issue and states were allowing it, things weren't as crazy as they were now. Everything was just normal and they were fighting for their rights. I was born in 1989 and I don't remember ever feeling told or forced to be heterosexual and never even thought anything negative about gay people. Nothing I remember watching ever implied or tried to ingrain the idea that those people were bad.

The pushback now is because its being fostered in our youth that they SHOULD question their sexuality, that they SHOULD be anything but heterosexual, that heterosexuality is negative and that LGBTQ++++ makes you special. Its gone beyond "acceptance".
