Many ‘friends’ don’t care about you, they only want you for entertainment

They won’t take care of you unless it benefits them in one way or another.

Your feelings are irrelevant to them because they just want you there to have a good time.

They don’t hold a moral compass or guilty conscience whatsoever.

Well months ago I dropped the group of friends which act this way.

Now I am lonely often. But I do have group of newly established good friends.

I can't remember which famous comedian said it, but one of them pointed out years ago that all of them have experienced having ballers invite them to expensive dinners with their families and wives, and then when the comedian says "ok" and just goes there and eat/drink like a normal person, the ballers get all pissed.

Turns out the only reason the comedians get invited is because the guy paying $300+ for the comedian's dinner and drinks thinks he's indirectly comping for a couple hours of jestermaxxing, when the comic wants to just chill and lay low.

It's often larger friend groups that this is noticeable.

Most people develop smaller circles as they mature and get older.

Your friends NEED to be able to listen to you and not cut you off because THEY want to be centerstage most of the time!! If they can't take the time out to have more meaningful two-way conversations AND if they aren't trustworthy, cut them off. No one needs that- especially people who aren't superficial and want more from friends than a good time.
Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.

Yeah i don't know man, i used to think the same way and still do a lot of the time, and this led to my anti-social behaviour, but at the end of the day, you need other people to survive, so you're better off playing nice to begin with.
