Showed up this morning for me. *******y thing even gets past Brave ad blocker. The only way I was able to get rid of it was by switching scripts off which also kills in thread YouTube videos, spoilers, and the multi quote and quick reply function.

Must be one of the "improvements" they are doing.

It looks like it might be the site's attempt at complying with that GDPR stuff. So instead of getting an "accept all cookies" pop up, you can control third party cookies modularly or something.

I don't see it on Firefox with light theme with Ublock Origin, so maybe it's a Chrome based browser thing.
