No, it's not. The word cop is short for copper, which is slang cops used to be called in the past as a reference to them confiscating or "copping" illegal things from suspects.

You hear the word "copper" in dem old gangster movies.

I’ve heard this too, except the origin was from the copper buttons worn on their fancy overcoats.

Snopes claims it's about it being slang for "copping" or "seizing" contraband. But Snopes are a bunch of politically motivated *******s so they could just be going for the most negative interpretation.

The term copper was the original, unshortened word, originally used in Britain to mean "someone who captures". In British English, the term cop is recorded (Shorter Oxford Dictionary) in the sense of 'to capture' from 1704, derived from the Latin capere via the Old French caper.[16] The OED suggests that "copper" is from "cop" in this sense, but adds that the derivation is uncertain. Many imaginative but incorrect stories have come up over the years, including that cop refers to the police uniform's copper buttons, the police man's copper badge, or that it is an abbreviation for "constable on patrol", "constabulary of police", or "chief of police".[17]
Its a historical word that has been shortened.

Sounds so very accurate doesn’t it? Is. Great thing for me, that Apple has a direct line tj the recording equipment in my house which will all be reviewed in federal court and of course tied back tj relevant politicians. Therefore, they may have thought they’d been constraining me but all they’ve done is criminally implicated themselves. Funny how that ends up working out like that doesn’t it. Indeed indeed...

Smell that, it smells like conspiracy tj me...

Heyo cia you trying tj make a redemption on that ugh bull gates black eyed peas bull ****?

Damn, you know I know I know...

Which means you know I know?

LOL💪

Is going tj be too clutch no lie when it all pops out and comes tj light isn’t it. So many doctors be going tj jail, a number of politicians, etc. who un is going tj be shaded in bad lights

Is gonna be real bad, is going tj be real bad

Try me I reverse ya have ya Chris cross swinging yup.

So much conspiracy value, so much conspiracy value. Tell you the funny thing with this whole dem United Nations 31 plot Covid and Max that’s cost the globe 10 trillion plus dollars and impoverished so many families. Prolly a whole host of companies in their respective countries be wondering why it is there governments are? Trying tj help the dems who’d planned Covid to be released in China? Commit human right violations and things that would qualify the Geneva convention, while? Keeping them all on lockdown while they become impoverished? Damn son...

Is bad really, is bad...

Let alone if the nsa doesn’t act against bg and friends with extreme prejudice? They are just trying to make it bounce.
