tfw you still miss your ex years later
**** man . stll cant get over it.
had sex with, been with a few other girls.
no one else compares.
i miss her so bad it hurts my ****ing soul.
wish could forget her. whenever im wth a girl i think about her even more.
feels like im crazy. ive never been so happy in my life than when i was with her.
someone came over to the house and brought something that reminded me of her.
been over 3 years already.
sigh.

yeah though I didnt actually "date" her in a LTR enough to call her my ex gf
she was the first girl I actually wanted to put in effort hanging out with and going to movies/dinner with. chemistry was off the charts, and I did eventually bang her, but she was clearly emotionally hung up on some higher value male she'd been chasing through her social circle for a while. I didn't stand a chance as some random she met on tinder, it was just my turn, etc.

plus she "got me" whereas most women don't and think I'm weird...lotta attractive women are very very simple and really are looking for a guy who will fit into their life like a "Live, Laugh, Love" poster.

I ran into my longest relationship ex last year at the grocery store. I was picking up some pb powder and heard her voice. I knew it was her talking to someone so I turned around and called her name. She spun around and saw me. It was actually a perfect situation as I was dressed well and just left the house after a workout.
She was with a guy (assume a bf) and she gave me the most thirsty look ever. I put my hand out to him, introduced myself and asked her if her family was well. She said yes, I said good, mine as well, then excused myself saying nice to see her and meet him. I controlled the interaction, was polite and brief, and probably left them both thinking about it for awhile.
Then later that night I stayed over with a girl 18 years younger than her (she is my age, 45).
I tell this to teach some of you a few life lessons: it's ok to remember the past. Just take it for what it was and move on. I had good times with that girl, but that is past and seeing her with another guy had no affect on me. I've had many more great times since then and life is too short to focus on a past, ended relationship. One and awhile an event or conversation brings up a memory of something that we did together and that's ok to do. Just don't dwell on it or get depressed by it. Be glad that you had that good moment. And live for the now and future. If she was the best man, that means that you are capable of getting a great girl and can do it again. So go out there and do it boyos.
