Haven’t seen anyone doing it outside in a long time.

I play inline hockey......

Also Ice, but I do rollerblade. Not sure id do it out on the streets though. Would rather run or bike. Plus the wheels get torn up on my inline hockey skates as they are softer for the leagues floor.

It's making a comeback. I see younger kids doing it.

People stopped after the gay jokes:

Whats the hardest part about roller blading? Telling your parents that you're gay.

Yeah it's kinda weird how it got so hated on in the 00's, for some reason the culture took a hard shift to skateboarding and you would get made fun of for rollerblading. Now a days people are just glad when you aren't a scooter kid lol.

I busted out my old rollerblades the other day, but good lord is it dangerous. As a kid, falls don't have too much of an effect since you're light, but as an adult a fall would probably cripple me

That stuff was huge in SoCal in the 90s. Go to the beach areas in San Diego and you'd see people rollerblading all over the place.
