How often do you wash your car?

Given I have picked up on auto detailing I'd like to think I know what I'm doing. After driving car after car through the car wash to only find scratches in the paint it persuaded me to take care of my car. I typically wash my car 2x a month if normal city driving.

often.....have 2 miles of dirt road back to my place, gets muddy and dusty every 2 days
