I run the national geothermal program for the DOI, one of several programs I run, so I'm genuinely curious.

Currently on a call with a bunch of departments discussing carbon capture, working on a report to congress.

Always been a fan of nuclear. Most opposition's modern conception of it is 50 year old technology and safety which is ridiculous.

Yeah the biggest problem with nuclear power is the first generation power plants they were building after WWII, modern power plants are many times safer and cleaner. If we put in new nuclear power plants it would probably be best off that way.

On the nuclear side, Small Modular Reactors might be the wave of the future (but I'm not an expert)
