Not been vaccinated against covid myself but that's not because of some paranoid delusion, it's simply because I'm a lazy @sshole.

The official government stance is that the drugs are not fully regulated. It's not like vaccines in general are bad.

People who are "anti-vaxx" AKA against any and all vaccines are ridiculous. People who don't volunteer to take unregulated drugs are reasonable.

It's not like everyone who disagrees with you thinks the same way. Any sort of nuance is overlooked by dumbass partisan politics.

States with majority vaccinated are a small minority. It's the majority of Americans who silently decided to not trust or need an unregulated and questionably rushed drug.

That's the silent majority. These people so enthusiastic to trust and inject themselves with some mystery drug are the loud minority.

But you don't call them "pro-vaxx." They just assume they are the only ones who think critically because they are told they are.

It really comes down to trust. These people no longer trust medical professionals or scientific data anymore. A few fringe voices spread propaganda and talk to them at their level and tell them what they want to hear, and they gobble it up. Conspiratorial thinking is endemic in the misc as well. It was Bill Gates, or China, or a conspiracy by Big Pharma, etc. These people are irrational. When scrutinized, their conspiracies don't even make sense.
