I got jumped by a pack of cowards who outnumbered me 4 to 1, no chance of being able to fight back. Capitalized on the adrenaline and took off at light speed, no hope of them catching me.

Yeah, sure, not willingly. But I'm a grown ass man and I got jumped early in the year. Two dudes just come out of nowhere, strike a conversation, and one of them sucker punches me right in the mouth and splits my lip in half.


He didn't get to fire off a second shot because I put him in a clinch and took him to the ground, then ran. Got away with nothing but a cut on the lip and two stitches, so ultimately quite lucky.



Sometimes it just happens and you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. But yeah, if a grown man gets in more than 2-3 fights in his adult life he needs to take pause and carefully consider why he keeps getting into chit.

Too much can go wrong, even if you think you're be the winner. They could be armed, they could have friends, you could go to jail, just not worth it. IF you can leave/deescalate the situation, you should.

Always escape a bad situation if you can. If there's anything ********* has taught us, is that chit can end your life in less than 5 seconds: either through death or prison.

Lmao yep. But yeah there are just too many negative things that can happen and basically the only positive is you beat someone up a little and no cops show up. I had a buddy who got sucker punched because a guy thought his girl was flirting with him in college. Head hit a curb and he had to re learn how to walk. That's always stuck with me luckily.

Story time:

Years ago was at the bar with some friends and their was a beer company promoting their beer - giving out drink samples, tee shirts etc. To make them laugh I IMMEDIATELY pulled off my shirt and put the free t shirt on and started wearing it around the bar. An old coworker who was stumbling drunk saw me, and start giving me **** for it "why you wearing that stupid shirt", "I don't like that shirt, take it off", "hey I'm talking to you. Take that shirt off." etc. I try to ignore him, he grabs the shirt, RIPS it off of me, and throws in on the ground.

Moment of truth time... I pause for like a good 10 seconds to get control of myself, turn and walk back to the table where my friends & GF are. Everyone's like "why aren't you wearing a shirt", I tell them what happened. Sure enough this ass whole comes over to our table "bro are you mad at me, what's your fukken problem, I thought you were cool" blah blah. Our table points out I'm being very, VERY cool and he should get lost. At this point bouncers have come over and throw his ass out. They send a round to our table (it was our corner bar & we knew the crew in there) and the promoters send me a bucket of their beers and another t shirt.

This guy was supremely drunk, short and skinny. I could have knocked his ass out without question, but he could have ended up in the hospital and me in Jail. Agreed with the bros above that it gnaws at you for a while afterward, it's not easy walking away from a jackass who 100% has it coming to them.

Too many factors against you to fight. IMO only fight when it's your last resort. It's not pussy but pragmatic.

The question is relative. And takes some common sense and a little street smarts to get it right. If you are walking home after work at 3 am and walking through a part and 2 dudes start shut with you. And no one is aroubd 1. You dont know their intent.2. you dont know if they sre armes.. this is a common sense street smart scenario

If you ate out in public and someone swings on you or your wife then you take care of business. If you sre out in public and someone points at you and calls you a pussy and dares you to fight him..

1. Is the idiot worth the jail fime, the court cost, the time and hassle of the courts or if you are in one of those noods and its a gas station or some where with camaers. Call his loud mouth fake ass out and offer him a free swing so its on camera you were just defeneing yourself and teach him a lesson
