If someone uses the term 'gym bro' can you safely assume they're a certified soyo?

I only ever see middle aged men and women who are 'carrying a little extra tehe' use this term. Usually they do go to the gym but are unsuccessful in this endeavour, which is likely why they attempt to use derogatory terminology to tear down those of us who have made it.
