Asian-Canadian Nazi Arrested For Hate Crimes

Toronto police arrested 32-year-old Michael Park for two separate anti-Semitic incidents, reports CBC. The first incident occurred on July 6th in Stanley Park around 8 am. Police said Park with a swastika drawn on his chest began to allegedly yell anti-Semitic slurs at a person before throwing something at them. Park was arrested shortly after and charged with assault with a weapon and two infractions related to behavior in parks.
Stephanie Bjurstrom who is Jewish and who was at Stanley Park told CBC about her run-in with the suspect.
“Oh, you’re a dirty Jew, aren’t you,” he allegedly told her according to Bjurstrom.
“Yeah, I’m Jewish,” she told him. “What are you going to do about it?”
Bjurstrom said the suspect started saluting Hitler and telling her that she was not part of the Aryan race and that Jews were not worthy.
Four days later, police said Michael Park was involved in another anti-Semitic incident but this time punches were thrown. Police said a man was near Yonge Street and Glen Elm Avenue when Park allegedly hurled anti-Semitic slurs at three Jewish women. A man in the area confronted Park about his language and he was allegedly punched multiple times. Police arrested Park shortly after and charged him with one count of assault.

“Yeah, I’m Jewish,” she told him. “What are you going to do about it?”
