How many pullups can you do in a row?
Today...I did 22 in a row and it was effortless. That was following 3 sets of lat pulldowns too so I was surprised by that.

Dead-hang, chin over bar pullups?
About 10 +/- 1 depending on the day.
A lot is going to depend on your weight as well.
I could do 25+ pullups when I weighed 145lbs.
At 195lbs, there's no way in hell I'm doing that many with good form.

If you only ever pull up to chin at bar, going to chest without momentum is going to be very difficult to impossible and pulling just to chin at bar will remain challenging even if you start doing weighted pull ups with that low range of motion. It'll mostly just make you stronger in the ROM. If you want to pull higher, you practice pulling as high as you can. With pullups, I can't touch chest to bar without momentum from the bottom. I don't know if it's because my upper back is weak or because the movement is just a lot harder.
For chin ups, I think you're more likely to arch your back and aim your chest up and it's kinda like a chin up/row movement. For pull ups, you probably stay mostly vertical/hollow body and pull straight up. High pull ups, at some point you are doing a row, try doing both grips purposely arching your back.

Properly warmed up. Probably 15-18.
I typically drop to dead hang on every rep. So my form is usually very strict.
I don't see much purpose going beyond 12 reps for pull-ups. Would rather add weight or do holds at the very top.

I weight like 170, but around 15 probably.
I prefer adding 25-45lb and doing 3x5-8

I like to end all my workouts with pull ups- usually a set of 3. First set I can go between 12-15 with strict form. The second set is usually around 6-8 reps and the third drops to about 4 reps. 2 minutes rest between sets.

Currently 13 chin ups with strict form on gymnastics rings. Getting a new bar next week and will be interested to see where I'm at with regular pull ups. I think I was at 16 pull ups at one point. That was definitely my max. Maybe only 15.

I haven't tried to max pullups in a while, but I think the most I've done at once was like ~26 with good form. I used to do sets of pullups after nearly every workout.

Currently, I'm doing 8 pull ups with additional 10 pounds on a weight belt. These are all full extensions.
