How much spice can you handle?

I always go for the hottest wings available, Atomic from Wingstop, Blazing from Buffalo Wild Wings, etc

But it isn't always just wings. Give me the hottest salsa you have and make it extra spicy. If a Chinese restaurant leaves the Sriracha on my table I pour half the bottle into my Combination Fried Rice (srs)

I think any hot sauce that doesn't have Habaneros or Carolina Reapers isn't worth trying. Jalapenos are too sweet but I still enjoy them on my burgers. Ghost chilis are the new jalapenos srs.

Can you handle spicy food? Do you ENJOY the spice? There are tons of hot sauces out there that are spicy af but taste like absolute chit. Go to your local Firehouse Subs and try any of the sauces they have available. They taste like chit.

Can handle some intense spice. I prefer Trinidad scorpion peppers versus Carolina reapers because they’re hotter imo regardless of scoville.. You only need a thumbnail amount to spice a salsa. Thai chilis are my favorite though, the green ones because they have flavor as well.

I can 'handle' spices but I only enjoy a certain level. If the spice over-rides the flavor of the food no thnx jeff.



Some stuff goes good spicy. My GF makes a curry that's super spicy (Your butthole will sting when you poop it out the next day) but it adds to the flavor not detracts from it.

This combination of sentences makes no sense.

But yes I love hot food if it has good flavor. I never ordered the old blazin because they taste like metal. The new version I do order. Food doesn’t need to be the absolute hottest, but I enjoy the heat high

When I was editing my post I knew the Sriracha sentence felt out of place.

Sriracha isn't spicy so that's why I have to use half the bottle. I love the flavor.

Quite a bit, but I've never experienced ghost pepper or carolina reaper. I guess for some context I onced ordered a dozen BWW blazin, and quickly scarfed down 11 of them and then threw out the last one.

When I was in the Navy some guys had a bottle of some super hot sauce (unfortunately I don't know what it was made of though), they were going around trying to get people to take. I was down, they put a bit in a spoon and I ate it. It burned so bad I felt like I was going to puke for a while. Would try again though.

Appreciate you guys ITT for liking spice but in general, Americans are fuking awful @ handling spice.

I live in Trinidad, we have the Moruga Scorpions and a bunch of other hot peppers. Eating pepper with our food is a staple here, I pour a ton of my pepper sauce on every meal.

Edit: Just checked, I have five 750ml bottles of pepper sauce in the kitchen lol.

It was that and you saying jalapeños are too sweet, but I find sriracha to be pretty sweet. I like it sometimes, but not very often

Hottest thing I've eaten was ghost pepper chicken wings, but I thoroughly enjoy watching people suffer through reapers etc

hnnnng hot sauce on everything crew checking in, I even used to keep some sauce stashed away at the work lounge for lunch time lol

was growing some red habs and scotch bonnets but the Texas freeze fukked them all up

usually have 10-20 sauces on rotation, and always trying new ones

Habanero is my preferred heat level. Actual ghost peppers are too hot to be enjoyable, though there are "ghost pepper" items you can buy on the market that are great. Had some ghost pepper sauce on some ribs (Had to sign a waiver) once and it was just not enjoyable.

I wanted to point out, that the bolded is weird af to me to read in the same post. You say you love hot food, you say you don't prefer sweeter chilis... then you say you will use an entire bottle of sriracha which is about the sweetest fuking standard hot sauce and about as hot as Tabasco (IE: not hot).

Sriracha is garbage =(

I order a lot of Thai food. Those that have a spice scale of 1-5, I get 4. With a spice scale of 1-10, I get 8. Not sure of the names of which hot peppers are the best, but I know I definitely crave them, lol.
