LOL! Some managers legit care about you, but their hands can be tied sometimes by the soulless entity that is the company as a whole.
That's why a lot of red pilled workers will quit without notice and not give two fuks about it, or will milk all their vacation days, etc.

Corporate life is just social ladder-climbing, formalized.
Get your CPA or JD and you'll quickly find yourself on the higher end of the pecking order. Just like anything else, if you don't go for the important certs you'll always catch shid for being so far downstream.
If you're in engineering, get your public license or an MBA and will quickly be some kind of manager or VP over all the autistic engineers who were too short-sighted to further their career.

I always lul at the people climbing the corporate ladder who don't save or invest a dime of their earnings. Spending on useless chit while being poor af, also while slaving away for the bossman. The only way to truly get rich is to start your own business, or hit a few really lucrative investments. If you work for someone else...you may make it to upper middle class, but thats going to be it for you 9 times out of 10. The majority of the time you're just making your master aka boss rich.
