Depends on how you define a conservative person. They can have some conservative characteristics, but still not be an overall conservative person.

wouldn't that just be a Republican? The term "conservative" to me denotes values similar to those in Judaism and Christianity.

Eh, some of them consider themselves libertarians. Delineating between the two major parties wasn't really a point I was trying to make. Some conservatives don't even like the Repub or Lib parties as they are (like me).

do you have to believe in 100% of republic or democrat beliefs to be a republic or democrat?

I am pretty sure the vast majority of democrats right now believe in socialist or liberal ideologies as well...
